The Danish Board of District Heating (DBDH) is hosting a series of events across Scotland for local authorities involved in district heating. The events in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness are scheduled for the 17th, 18th and 19th January respectively.
DBDH has previously worked with local authorities, housing associations and universities across Scotland providing speakers for conferences and hosting study visits to Danish heat networks. Most recently DBDH has launched a mentoring program with district heating company, Aalborg Forsyning.
The Camps will enable energy practitioners from Scotland and Denmark to exchange knowledge and engage in collaboration on building low carbon heat systems.
Access to the group is controlled and limited to the public sector and those agencies responsible for supporting heat network development and regulation.
An overview of the proposed program:
The Camp concept incorporates a unique Challenge segment where participants present specific problems they have encountered to practitioners from Denmark. These will be “solved” on the day.
