The British Geological Survey and Natural Environment Research Council have published information including technical briefing presentations and exhibition material from a community engagement event held in Dalmarnock as part of the Glasgow Geothermal Energy Research Field Site.

The research explores whether or not geothermal energy schemes could be scaled up for larger areas and how to avoid problems such as pipes clogging up. It also aims to help scientists understand heat storage in summer and what effects there might be at the surface.
